Let your muscle tensions melt away! You will be mesmerized by the White Cliffs of the Shawangunk Mountains and entertained by your equine neighbors as they graze, frolic and raise their foals. Activities all year: fine restaurants, music, antiquing, art galleries, distilleries and wineries, seasonal farm stands and outdoor art exhibits, swimming in lakes or water holes in the woods, apple and pumpkin picking, leaf peeking, hiking and climbing the "Gunks.” EMS climbing school open all year just around the corner can set you up and guide you and your group in your first climbing experience. Begin your walk or bike ride in the charming hamlet of Gardiner along the historic Wallkill Valley Rail Trail that stretches up 20 miles over the Hudson River as far as Kingston in the north Walkill to the South.
Incredible location: Ten minutes to Mohonk House with preserve trails, Majestic Minnawaska State Park, and only 6 miles to New Paltz and all it's restaurants and shops.

Summary: Very nice house. The property is stunning. The house was well outfitted and we had everything we needed. Went for a hike in Minnewaska preserve and that was gorgeous. Lombardi’s Restaurant was also great and only 1 mile from the house. Would absolutely stay here again.

Summary: Had a great weekend. House was perfect. Setting was beautiful. Owners highly responsive and vested in our enjoying our time. The weather was fantastic making for wonderful hiking. No shortage of places to eat. Will definitely use this as a landing zone when we come back. Thank you, David and Cheryl, for hosting our stay!

Summary: The house was just as described and suited our needs very well. It was a small, older house in a very peaceful country setting. We used two of the three bedrooms and found the beds very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the triple filtered water. It would have been nice to have the stove hood fan working. It was a bit challenging to find the house in the dark, but would not have been any issue in daylight. We would stay again if visiting the area in the future.

Summary: Truly enjoyed our week long visit to this lovely home. Everything was provided including a welcome bottle of wine. The view from the house is truly stunning with the rising cliffs of the “Gunks” nearby. Plenty of places to hike yet close to the restaurants and shops of New Palz. The hosts are very receptive if you should need help. I highly recommend a visit
